Guess we have all taken our daily dose of clean fresh air for granted all these while... only to realize how comfortable and blessed we have been compared to nations who are constantly experiencing catastrophic events. 

I believe such events'd have corrected our myopic outlook of life to look beyond what we actually have in our life and to start appreciating what we have. Funny how this event has brought out the Singaporean creativity and humour in us. Such an interesting twist!
