Catching up
Too lazy to upload my BKK pics (not even done with the washing of my new clothes, well, not that I bought a lot but my sloth is engulfing me), I have been too comfortable. BKK trip was rejuvenating & fun with fats! :)

So, here's a preview of how life was after I've gotten back:
Non-stop feasting + catching up with friends I havent met for AGES!

1) POULET with Besties followed by an intensive DARTS + Dance-central session.
Woke up the very next day with a massive bodyache.

2) WILD HONEY with the people I respect most in Uni, Chris & Joshua ;)
Happy Birthday, Joshiieeee! We're both so proud of your achievements at work!

3) SUKI-YA buffet with the VICTIMZ, love how nicely I could twirl the ice-cream. I thought the buffet could afford to beef up their variety of food cause we all found ourselves to only have enjoyed the golden mushrooms and pork shabu shabu slices. It'd be good if they could have those bugis street's corn, beancurd, tofu, hotdogs. In short, they just need to localize and the buffet'd prolly be more enjoyable.

Some catching up at Starbuck's after dinner ;)
Really enjoyed the talks & laughters <3

4) Supper at some HK cafe after Amplify last Friday with Val, Amo & Stefan!
OMG Stefan is finally back, but he's still the same. Too much nonsense and girl-crushes, as usual. HAHAHA.

5) Some emo times with Fats @ Yishun Park when we were both upset and I apparently got back home with 14 new mozzie bites (!!!!) Oh wells, guess it's worth it when both of us enjoyed the chitchatting and got back home happier ;)

6) Awwww, some really awesome family time on Sundays when we'd involve lil Theone when we cook. My sis is assisting Theone to mix the batter I'd need for my Deep Fried Golden Mushroom.
It turns out fine? but I thought it could afford to be a little less oil-ier cause it was super gerlak. Theone love the crispy batter though! :)

Love Sundays, the only day when Sis & I could lay our hands at new dishes without being screamed at. Dinner was Claypot Chicken Rice by me and Curry Chicken by Sis (tastier than gram's nyonya Curry wahaha, I guess my sis can be the little nyonya already).

7) Catching up with Winston @ DeCONTI, a cosy gelato and coffee joint at Tampines One. Love their gelato! especially the Pistachio and Hazelnut one :D Yums in my tums!

Havent met Wins for a few years already cannnnnn. Excited with the little plans we have in mind to help the needy! :)

8)  Upper Thomson Food Hunt w/ Melly. Havent met him since March? We had my favourite Ice-Edge Cafe minus the ice-cream n waffle cause he wanted to bring me to East Coast's Cheese Cake Cafe. END UP IT WAS CLOSED :( and I had no desserts *sniff. It's okay, at least we had my favourite Upper Thomson Prata before we headed off to East Coast, so it wasn't that bad :D

9) Quality Time with my Sis. We had manicure & tze-char! hoho
(this pic is meant to be blur so got more feel! HAHA)

love it when my favourite person makes time for me :')

10) Went on a mask binge. I must say these charcoal bamboo eye masks are really good!
No wonder they are highly recommended by some Taiwan celebrities.

11) HARRY's Beer & Finger food w/ BFF Joe. So happy he found a job that he enjoys and pays well!
Wonder when will my turn come... lol. Nonetheless, I still miss his crap & shit :D

One thing for sure, this guy should stop hitting my flabby arms.

 12) Okay, I know... I miss myself too. lol.

Just signed up as a sgCares volunteer yesterday, was thinking of volunteering while waiting for calls and interviews. Anybody wanna join me?

Last night I gave my seat up to this lady. Lady initially declined my offer politely but I insisted. In fact, I was really happy to have insisted because at least I'd have saved her from the side squashings by two idiots. It was when I started standing did I realize the man standing on my right had a strong alcohol stench. So apparently he started to sway to and fro, with occasional bumpings on my butt and shoulders (ROAR!) but yknow what? I was pleasantly thankful that this lady whom I've offered my seat to has been looking out for me ever since she sat down. She even requested that I lean towards her because she knew this man was a drunkard. As if standing beside a drunkard wasn't bad enough, on my left was an obnoxious young man who apparently doesn't know the meaning of personal space. He knew I had little space to be comfortable and yet, still came close to me despite having ample space on his left.

Thank goodness, my stop wasn't too far away and I even had the chance to bid the lady goodbye before quickly making my way to the exit. Although it was an unpleasant ride, the constant lookout that the lady had for me override the bad and was exceptionally heart-warming. Warms my heart to have received such motherly love from a stranger and like this lady, I know my God is constantly looking out for me. :) Oh how I feel so loved after this incident.

A wonderful start to August, I'd say :)
You too, have a blessed week!
xoxo
