If you're looking to lay your tastebuds on French Cuisine, Saveur could be a good start with their affordable picks. After reading tonnes of good reviews, we knew we had to come. We arrived @ 7pm, wanting to "chop" seats for our three friends who'd be there late but Saveur has this policy of getting you a table only when all your friends are here. As much as we were disappointed, I thought it was only just fair considering every table was packed then & the queue seems never ending. We'd just camwhore while waiting over at the seating area till the rest were here. Now, take a peep at their menu! Cuteness Maximus!

love the verse & see how God's blessing them with a great business! *quek quek*

Meals here are reallyyyyy affordable! :) But be prepared to wait qyute awhile for a seat.

I just can't take my eyes off their wall decal.....
:) & now the food!
I'm not really a french foodie person (i only love FRENCH fries, heh), so the only thing I ordered's just the (much raved) Angel hair pasta w/ Tiger prawn & Lumpfish cavier. I. LOVE. IT! 'd say this is by far the best pasta i've ever had, wouldn't mind coming back justtttt for this! Pasta was done al-dente & prawns were really fresh & sweet. *beams*

Do note that the pasta portion's really smalllllll (slightly bigger than the size of their metal spoon, so you can have a rough gauge how freakin small is that hahaha), super kid size i'd say; dont think i'm even half full to be honest. So you might wanna order 2 bowls OR just grab some snacks along bugis street later since it's just streets away ^^ Oh, I ordered their mashed potato as well & boy were they yummy! They had em' served in a traditional looking Goldilocks bowl, it makes me feel tiny the whole time teehee.  *grins*

bffPonyz ordered duck confetti w mashed. I'm not a duck person either, I think i'm the only member in the family who doesn't appreciates duck *quek*, so each time my father/grandmother cooks duck w/ salted veg soup, they'd be so upset knowing that i'd not be enjoying this delish dish with them. I've tried pony's duck, but I didn't really like it? I think Ponyz enjoyed it, so since this is less than $10bucks. I'm sure it's worth a try?

Okay, & now, the foie gras that got everybody excited.... except me. lol, I srsly don't understand why would anyone like this fatty-like thingy? They gave me a bite & I think I spit it out. They all love it, so this MUST be good for its price!

Char ordered their duck salad & say it was yummy as well!
