Met BFF to have lunch @ Relish. I must say the food's really goooood! ;)
Had the Creamy Garlic Mushroom Linguine & it tasted supremely good! love how this is not too creamy (so you won't feel jerlak anytime soon) and was done al dente *beams*. Mushrooms were really sweet & yknow if Zee hadn't told me there's truffle oil in it, I wouldn't have known! The portion's quite hearty, so you might wanna share it with your friends.

Hand-Cut Onion Rings with Curry Mayo & i must say the home-made curry mayonnaise was a pleasant surprise to the taste buds! Think light, fluffy & crispy battered onion rings to taste. Though I'd prefer my own homecooked
breaded onion rings, this is nonetheless a great alternative to fries if you're looking at something to munch. Love how the rings and sauce complement each other & they are so addictive, so watch it!
I am a sucker for fries. Ask any of my friends & they'd know I'm a fries junkie. For me, the best fries are huntable at Macdonalds (affordable & consistent) & ...... Relish. Both're just incredibly crispy on the outside & moist inside. Hmmmm, just too good! I've tried the Truffle fries from PS Cafe, but they just don't taste as good as the fries @ Relish. Go try it someday ok ;) You might wanna try the truffle fries @ Relish too! Dk if they're good (the plain ones are already so good!) but ever since I've tried the ones at PS, i just can't bring myself to try anymore Truffle fries at cafes/restaurants already. *insert disgusted face*
Zee's Grilled Pork Chop. I personally didn't quite like that, but Zee & Chinchin love it! Im just never a fan of pork chop..... HAHA! Look at da amount of oillllllllll, but okay la, the pork chop's juicy! ;)
Anyway, Zee tried to be romantic and booked the entire relish for us. Awwww, how sweet right? *wipe tears* Kay lah, cut the crap. It's just that it's off peak period when we got there at 1ish & they'd close at 3pm on weekdays to rest & resume at 6pm till night!
Headed to meet the rest of the girls for our CNY gelish manicure & pedicure. I feel like a tai-tai already! hahaha. eat, do manicure, shop then eat, drink and sleep.
Anyway, my gelish chipped on the 3rd day when it was supposed to last for a month -.- So I had to make a trip down again to get it fixed. Service was bad, & despite getting it fixed, it chipped off again the next day. So verdict, don't get your nails done @ Far East Plaza's Tinkerbelle or Fahrenheit. They are under the same group. Speaking of which, Tinkerbelle or Fahrenheit isn't as bad as Pink Parlour.... I just did my gelish @ Pink Parlour and was horrified with their service from respective FTs. It's like 10 times worse than chipping off. So verdict, never frequent Pink Parlour unless you wanna be greeted with the worse cognitive dissonance and customer service from their valued employees. I don't normally bitch about services, but when I do, yknow it's horrendous.
*update: Pink Parlour's CEO just got back to me with an apology & a $30 gift voucher as a form of service recovery. I mean how pathetic.... do I look like I need your $30 voucher when majority of your services are at least $50? I just don't understand how can they even be Singapore's award-winning Parlour with such service standards.*
Bad services aside, we went for some CNY shopping but I still got nth except some basics from f21, a floral hairband from my work place & a pair of boots from New Look ^^ pics up soon! Drinks @ Acid Bar after shopping! It was our first @ Acid Bar, have always been passing by that bar without knowledge of its existence. We love the ambience & will most likely be returning back again :) Hoolah, what a great closure to a Monday!
