See me in the awesome dress beneath? THAT'S ACTUALLY MY AWESOME UNIFORM! So each time I work, i get to look this pretty. So happyyyyyy :>
Work was awesome today,
not because the awesome customer that I happened to serve spend $XXX today,
not because the customer was an auntie & I so happen to be an auntie killer,
actually all of the above's true but she just happen to make my day by giving me the affirmations that I needed all these while.
She wanted me to believe and have confidence in myself- Something I've always find it difficult especially when I struggle a lot with my esteem issues~ I may appear confident on the outside but inside me, I really have issues with accepting compliments and aiyah, it's just me.. u'd never understand, hahaha! Anyway, I was actually helping her, her 2 daughters and 2 grand-daughters at the fitting room, and I just got to know that her daughter is getting married! (In fact, I served 2 customers today who are bride-to-be(s). Awwww.... just feel damn happy for them to have found the one that'd get to spend their whole life with.... :') it's just so beautiful!) & so, I was telling this auntie that her daughter (who's getting married's) so pretty, wear what also look absolutely stunning one lor! i.e. without the intention to up sell any products kay, it's a sincere comment from the bottom of my heart!
Then she told me I am beautiful too, but I replied her it's just make up which was my typical reply to shut people up because I'm really ugly, it's really just make up! nothing but the truth.... but this auntie damn nice i feel like crying. She say, "no! I can tell one, even without make up you'd look really beautiful! you must believe in yourself and have more confidence!! what you lack is just confidence". I'm sorry I have to jot this down (not haolian ok) but I wanna save as much happy memories like this for keepsake. So one day when I'm old and still enjoying my packet of fries from Macs, I'd remember and read about this really nice auntie who has so much faith and good word for me from my blog.
