the literally drop-down-from-heaven-fairy (Xian nu xia fan) making strawberry tarts for us me! I casually passed a remark t have strawberry tarts as one of the menu items & char being char.... she really teng me so much to bake these for me lor. Me likey! feel more loved than the birthday girl already. 

 So Julian (the real chef) & us whipped a table of plenty for the burpday girl!

Then we headed off t church after lunch. Val would attempt t attend mass every year on her bday wherever possible :')

20April SAT

 had a sudden urge to attend Fat's church. It was an eye-opener & am still quite impressed with the zeal and faith they have with them even though their church may be small. And by that I mean realllyyy super duper small. 

  

 Our first time @ Upper Thomson's prata store and it was fabulous and incredibly crispy wogayyy. Easily the best prata in Singapore I would say, fats even mentioned it was better than Jalan Kayu's. We had 3 pratas each hahaha, no no... she couldnt finish her prata so end up.... I had 3.7 and she had 2.3. Not forgetting our yummy desserts @ Salted Caramel too. #fatdieus :) 

Have always enjoyed deep conversations w/ fattie & yesterday was one of the best conversations we have had. I love how we can talk about anything under the sun :)
